Next Revolution: The Second American Revolution

Bush's veto of another torture ban, (bush veto maintains his criminal torture power, reuters, 3-8-08), he tells us, is to "...ensure our intelligence officials have all the tools they need to stop the terrorists...."

This veto proves a few things about US power to our people and the whole world.  First, the whole world now sees that we are no better than any lawless force operating on earth today.

Second, our corrupted democracy not only fails to represent and protect  american rights, but we have granted the dictators and tyrants of the  world all the justifications and rationalizations they would ever need to engage in every sort of crime imaginable, from national wars of aggression through individual kidnapping, secret detention and secret prisons, torture, and murder.

Domestically, bush has ignored the constitution. Both parties ignore the constitution to steal our elections and our wealth, but bush has gone a step beyond this type of normal political corruption and manipulation.

Bush has attacked the key principals that make our country democratic. Bush's  lying us to war, secret kidnapping,secret prisons, and  torture are not just crimes in america, but they are international war crimes and crimes against humantiy.

To commit these crimes, bush has defied congressional oversight, breaking the checks and balances between the the president and congress. Bush's illegal searching programs have destroyed the 4th Amendment. Bush's manipulation of the department of justice and US attorneys has made the rule of law a servant of the executive branch.

The purpose of this site is to bring these bastards back within the rule of law ant the principals of our constitution. Bush's arrogance flows directly from his position as the leader of a big money political machine (big oil republicans). The power of his faction gives him enough votes to put him above the law.

These big money political machines have trancended the constitutional limits designed to prevent any faction from taking over our government and using it as a tool of  arbitrary power.

The failure of our democracy has been costly: the illegal war, occupation, and the flood of war crimes that have followed are no more than the fruits of political victory by big oil, israel, and the religious crazies. With their political  victory came a criminal plan by big oil, the neo cons, and israel to rebuild our failing political and military supremecy in the middle east through a criminal war of aggression.

Independent of the success or failure of this plan, it has exposed the extensive internal damage and corruption that has broken our democracy. We can no longer afford to allow the bribes of the special interests, be they big oil, the chemical industry, or wall street, to call the political shots in our country.
